The Scary Dinosaur and the Stinky Skunk Presents:
School is finally out and we did good in school. We both got all As and Bs. And Dad said that if we did good in school- like we always do, he would take us camping like that dad did on our favorite TV show. Man, they had so much fun! Hopefully, he hasn’t forgotten our deal.[1]
“Duce! Elisha!! I have a surprise for you!”
“What is it?! What is it?!”
“We’re going CAMPING today!”
“Yay!!” Both boys yelled.
“Mom’s already packed our things and is downstairs making breakfast for us. So hurry up and brush your teeth and get dressed so we can eat and leave.”
“Yay!!’ Duce and Elisha exclaimed excitedly.
“This is the best day of my life!” Duce yells excitedly.
The boys brush their teeth in the bathroom excited for their surprise camping trip, but Elisha looks a little nervous.
BOYS GETTING DRESSED IN THEIR ROOM:[2] The brothers are in their room getting dressed for their camping trip.
“Duce, what’s camping REALLY like? Will there be bears? Danger? Monsters? Will we get lost? Will there be other people there camping? Will they want to hang out with us?” Elisha's questions seemed unending.
“No! It will be fun! I PROMISE! Remember our favorite show? All the fun they had? We get to go fishing. Start a campfire, tell spooking stories, make a tent, and make s’mores! And we probably get to stay up all night! It’s going to be so amazing!”
“But what about the bears? The lions! Skunks peeing on us when we’re sleeping…The monsters!”
“Don’t worry about that. Dad will protect us. Bears and lions are probably only in Australia.”
“Okay… I hope you’re right…” Elisha said reluctantly.
The boys ate their food so fast and ran to kiss their momma bye. [3]
“Wait! Let’s pray!” Duce said excitedly.
“Yes, son! You’re absolutely right. Let’s pray for our trip.”
“And make sure you pray about the monsters, bears, skunks, and lions because I don’t want to get ate and peed on.” Elisha yelled quickly before Dad started praying.
“Okay, son. But don’t worry. We’re going to have a great time. Dear God…thank you for this camping trip that me, Duce and Elisha are going on. Protect us, keep us safe, help us to face our fears of the unknown, have fun, meet new people, and enjoy each other and all the fun things we will do while camping. We love you and trust you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
“AMEN!” Everyone said in unison, hugging.
“Alright! Let’s gooooo!!’ Duce yelled and ran for the door.
“Love you too boys. Have a great time with your Daddy, and make sure you listen.” Their mom says warmly.
“Okay, Mommy! Love you too!” They yelled in unison running to the car.
The boys got in the car with their dad excited for the adventure ahead. [4]
“Hey Dad, how far is it to get there? A hour?” Duce asked.
“Great question, son! It will take us about 30 minutes to drive to the camping site.”
“How many minutes is 30 minutes,” Elisha inquired. Everyone busted out in laughter.
“Are you excited, E?” Duce asked grinning.
“Yes! But...but I’m a little scared too. I don’t want to get ate by a bear or fall out the boat fishing or get lost in the wood…”
“Don’t be, E! We are going to have so much fun with Dad! Watch!”

“Camping Day! Camping Day! I love camping day!” Duce yelled singing excitedly.
AT CAMPSITE[5]
“We’re here boys! Let’s grab our things and fork our tent.”
“Yay! I got the snacks!” Elisha said excitedly with hands full of snacks their mom packed.
“I got the sleeping bags!” Duce yelled behind a pile of sleeping bags he was carrying
“Now remember, when you are putting your tent up make sure the area is flat and dry.”

Prabir did an excellent job on my childrenโs book. He responds to feedback very quickly and his attention to details is great. I will work with him again in the future and highly recommend.
Another great job. I am always pleased with your attention to details and knowledge of my characters. You always deliver in plenty of time to give me a chance to review.
This is my 6th book with Prabir and I am always pleased with the results. My books are absolutely beautiful. Prabir works diligently to make sure the book is exactly what I want. I know that children, teachers and parents will enjoy the story and pictures. Great job!
